REFUND, CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

Last Updated: August 31, 2026

Thank you for choosing Un Negocio Local™.

We are committed to providing professional digital marketing, website development, consulting, creative, educational, technology, and other digital services and products.

Because many of our Services involve customized work, professional time, digital delivery, project development, third-party services, and resources committed specifically to a customer, our refund and cancellation rules vary depending on the type and status of the purchase.

This Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy (“Refund Policy”) explains how refunds, cancellations, returns, exchanges, and payment disputes are handled by Un Negocio Local™.

By purchasing a product or Service from us, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this policy before completing your purchase.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or restrict any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

1. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLE

Not every purchase is eligible for a refund.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • The type of product or Service purchased.

  • Whether work has started.

  • Whether the Service has already been provided.

  • Whether digital content has been delivered or accessed.

  • Whether customized work has been created.

  • Whether third-party costs have been incurred.

  • Whether the customer has approved a deliverable.

  • The applicable Service Agreement.

  • The applicable order terms.

  • Applicable law.

A refund request does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

Each request may be reviewed according to the circumstances of the transaction.

2. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Professional Services may include:

  • Website design and development.

  • Landing pages.

  • Digital marketing.

  • Social media management.

  • SEO.

  • Graphic design.

  • Business consulting.

  • AI consulting.

  • AI training.

  • Digital strategy.

  • Technology consulting.

  • Website maintenance.

  • Content creation.

  • Advertising-related services.

  • Custom digital projects.

Because these Services involve professional time and resources, payments may become non-refundable once work has begun.

3. WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Website projects frequently involve research, planning, design, development, coding, configuration, testing, content preparation, third-party services, and communication with the customer.

Once a website project has begun, payments may be non-refundable to the extent they correspond to:

  • Work already performed.

  • Design already created.

  • Development already completed.

  • Research or planning already performed.

  • Content already produced.

  • Third-party services already purchased.

  • Domains or hosting already purchased.

  • Plugins, software, licenses, or tools already purchased.

  • Other project-related expenses.

If the customer cancels a project after work has started, we may deduct the value of completed work and non-refundable expenses from any amount potentially eligible for refund.

4. DEPOSITS AND INITIAL PAYMENTS

Some projects require a deposit or initial payment before work begins.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, a deposit may be used to reserve project capacity, begin research, begin planning, purchase resources, or commence work.

Once work begins, the deposit may become non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

A deposit does not necessarily represent the total cost of a project.

5. MILESTONE PAYMENTS

Some projects may be divided into milestones.

Examples may include:

Milestone 1: Discovery and planning.

Milestone 2: Design.

Milestone 3: Development.

Milestone 4: Testing and revisions.

Milestone 5: Final delivery and launch.

Payments associated with completed milestones may be non-refundable because the corresponding work has already been performed.

6. DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND DOWNLOADS

Digital products may include:

  • Templates.

  • Guides.

  • Educational materials.

  • Documents.

  • Graphics.

  • Digital resources.

  • Downloadable files.

  • Software-related resources.

  • Other electronically delivered materials.

Because digital products can be accessed, copied, or downloaded, digital purchases may be non-refundable after delivery, access, or download, except where required by applicable law.

If you experience a legitimate technical problem preventing access to a purchased digital product, please contact us so that we can investigate and, when appropriate, provide a replacement or corrected version.

7. CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Customized work is created specifically for a customer.

This may include:

  • Logos.

  • Websites.

  • Landing pages.

  • Graphics.

  • Advertisements.

  • Social media content.

  • Marketing materials.

  • Custom documents.

  • Forms.

  • Digital assets.

  • AI-assisted content.

  • Custom business materials.

Once production has begun, customized work may be non-refundable because it cannot reasonably be returned to inventory.

8. MARKETING SERVICES

Marketing Services may involve advance planning, content creation, campaign preparation, scheduling, advertising setup, research, strategy, and professional time.

Once marketing work has begun or services have been delivered, the applicable payment may be non-refundable.

A lack of a particular marketing result does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund.

9. SEO SERVICES

SEO involves ongoing work and factors outside our control.

SEO payments are generally non-refundable once the applicable work has begun or been delivered.

Search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or other business outcomes are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written agreement.

Search engine algorithm changes or ranking fluctuations do not automatically create a right to a refund.

10. CONSULTING AND COACHING

Consulting, coaching, strategy sessions, training sessions, workshops, and similar professional Services are generally non-refundable once the session or Service has been provided.

If a scheduled session has not yet occurred, cancellation or rescheduling may be considered according to the applicable Service terms.

Missed appointments or late cancellations may be treated as completed or reserved Services where permitted by the applicable agreement.

11. AI TRAINING AND AI SERVICES

AI training, consulting, implementation, and AI-assisted Services involve professional time and customized instruction or work.

Once a session has been conducted, materials have been delivered, or customized work has begun, payments may be non-refundable.

AI tools may change their features, pricing, availability, policies, or functionality after a Service has been provided.

Such third-party changes do not automatically qualify a customer for a refund.

12. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING SERVICES

For recurring Services, cancellation generally applies to future billing periods.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already started or for Services already provided.

Customers are responsible for submitting cancellation requests before the next scheduled billing date when they no longer wish to continue a recurring Service.

If a subscription has an applicable minimum term or separate written agreement, those terms may apply.

13. CANCELLATION BEFORE WORK BEGINS

If a customer requests cancellation before work has begun, we may review the request for a possible refund.

Any refund may be reduced by:

  • Payment processing fees that cannot reasonably be recovered.

  • Third-party expenses already incurred.

  • Administrative costs.

  • Other documented expenses associated with the transaction.

Where a separate agreement establishes cancellation terms, that agreement will govern the applicable transaction to the extent legally enforceable.

14. CANCELLATION AFTER WORK BEGINS

If a customer cancels after work begins, Un Negocio Local™ may retain amounts corresponding to:

  • Work completed.

  • Time already invested.

  • Approved milestones.

  • Custom work.

  • Third-party expenses.

  • Software or license purchases.

  • Advertising expenses.

  • Other reasonable project costs.

Any remaining amount may be considered for refund according to the circumstances and applicable agreement.

15. CLIENT-CAUSED DELAYS

Customers are responsible for providing materials, information, access, credentials, approvals, and decisions reasonably necessary to complete a project.

If a project is delayed because the customer:

  • Does not respond.

  • Does not provide requested information.

  • Does not provide required access.

  • Does not approve deliverables.

  • Changes project requirements.

  • Becomes unavailable.

the project timeline may be extended.

Customer-caused delays do not automatically create a right to a refund.

16. PROJECT PAUSE OR ABANDONMENT

If a customer does not provide required information, approvals, or communication for an extended period, the project may be considered paused.

If the project remains inactive for an extended period, Un Negocio Local™ may close or archive the project after reasonable notice.

Any financial consequences associated with project abandonment may be governed by the applicable Service Agreement.

17. CLIENT-REQUESTED CHANGES

Reasonable revisions included within the purchased Service may be provided according to the applicable project scope.

Changes that materially alter the original project may require additional fees.

Examples include:

  • Changing the original concept.

  • Requesting additional pages.

  • Adding new functionality.

  • Requesting additional designs.

  • Changing approved layouts.

  • Adding new platforms.

  • Expanding the project scope.

A request for additional work does not create a refund right.

18. APPROVED WORK

Once a customer approves a design, concept, content, milestone, or deliverable, the approved work may be considered accepted.

Requests to substantially change previously approved work may be treated as additional work.

Customer approval may be provided electronically through email, messaging, project management systems, forms, or other authorized communication channels.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some projects require third-party products or Services.

Examples may include:

  • Domain registration.

  • Website hosting.

  • Plugins.

  • Software.

  • Applications.

  • Payment processors.

  • Advertising platforms.

  • Email platforms.

  • APIs.

  • Stock media.

  • Other technology Services.

Third-party charges may be non-refundable according to the applicable third-party provider’s policies.

Un Negocio Local™ cannot guarantee or override the refund policy of an independent third party.

20. DOMAIN NAMES AND HOSTING

Domain names and hosting Services may be purchased from third-party providers.

Once a domain or hosting Service has been purchased, refund eligibility may be determined by the applicable provider’s policies.

Where Un Negocio Local™ purchases such Services on behalf of a customer, the customer may remain responsible for applicable non-refundable third-party charges.

21. ADVERTISING BUDGETS

Advertising budgets paid to third-party platforms are separate from Un Negocio Local™ professional fees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an advertising platform has charged or spent an advertising budget, that amount may not be refundable by Un Negocio Local™.

Requests concerning unused advertising balances may need to be handled according to the applicable advertising platform’s policies.

22. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS

If you purchase a product or Service directly from a third-party company through a link, referral, integration, or affiliate relationship, that third party may be responsible for:

  • Order fulfillment.

  • Shipping.

  • Returns.

  • Refunds.

  • Warranties.

  • Cancellations.

  • Customer support.

Customers should contact the company that processed the transaction for issues relating to that purchase.

23. AFFILIATE PURCHASES

Un Negocio Local™ may use affiliate links.

If a purchase is completed directly with a third-party company, Un Negocio Local™ generally does not control the transaction.

The third party’s refund and cancellation policy will generally apply.

Any affiliate commission received by Un Negocio Local™ does not create an independent refund obligation for Un Negocio Local™.

24. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

If Un Negocio Local™ offers physical products, the applicable product page or order terms may specify additional return requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, eligible physical-product returns may require:

  • Proof of purchase.

  • Original condition.

  • Original packaging.

  • Unused condition.

  • Return within the applicable period.

Some products may not be eligible for return because of their nature.

Applicable law will control where it provides additional mandatory rights.

25. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

If a physical product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request:

  • Order information.

  • Photographs.

  • Description of the problem.

  • Other documentation reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.

Depending on the circumstances, an eligible customer may receive a replacement, correction, partial refund, full refund, or other reasonable remedy.

26. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

Promotional prices, discounts, coupons, introductory offers, credits, bonuses, and special packages may have additional terms.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional purchases remain subject to this Refund Policy.

Promotional discounts generally do not have cash value.

27. FREE TRIALS AND COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES

Free trials, demonstrations, complimentary consultations, bonuses, samples, and free digital resources have no independent monetary refund value unless expressly stated otherwise.

If a paid subscription follows a free trial, the applicable billing terms will be presented before the paid period begins where required.

28. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS RESULTS

Purchasing a Service does not guarantee:

  • Revenue.

  • Profit.

  • Sales.

  • Leads.

  • Customers.

  • Website traffic.

  • Search rankings.

  • Social media growth.

  • Advertising performance.

  • Return on investment.

  • Business success.

Business results depend on numerous factors outside our reasonable control.

Failure to achieve a particular business result does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

29. TECHNICAL ISSUES

If you experience a technical problem with a product or Service, please contact us before requesting a refund whenever reasonably possible.

We may attempt to:

  • Troubleshoot the issue.

  • Correct the problem.

  • Provide instructions.

  • Replace a defective digital file.

  • Provide an alternative method of access.

  • Provide another reasonable solution.

A technical issue that can reasonably be corrected does not automatically require a refund.

30. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

To request a refund, contact Un Negocio Local™ through the official contact information published on our website.

Please provide:

  • Full name.

  • Order or invoice information.

  • Product or Service purchased.

  • Purchase date.

  • Reason for the request.

  • Relevant supporting information.

We may request additional information when reasonably necessary.

31. REFUND REVIEW

Refund requests will be evaluated based on the applicable circumstances, including:

  • Purchase type.

  • Date of purchase.

  • Status of the Service.

  • Work completed.

  • Digital access or delivery.

  • Third-party expenses.

  • Applicable agreement.

  • Applicable law.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.

32. APPROVED REFUNDS

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may depend on:

  • Payment processors.

  • Banks.

  • Credit card companies.

  • Financial institutions.

Un Negocio Local™ is not responsible for processing delays caused by financial institutions or payment processors.

33. PARTIAL REFUNDS

Where appropriate, we may issue a partial refund.

A partial refund may account for:

  • Work already completed.

  • Professional time.

  • Services already delivered.

  • Third-party costs.

  • Digital products already accessed.

  • Advertising costs.

  • Licenses.

  • Other reasonable expenses.

Partial refunds are subject to applicable agreements and law.

34. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers are encouraged to contact Un Negocio Local™ before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

We reserve the right to provide transaction records, communications, invoices, project documentation, approvals, and other relevant information to payment processors or financial institutions when responding to a dispute.

Nothing in this section limits any legal right available to a customer.

35. FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS

If we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized activity, identity theft, payment abuse, or other improper activity, we may:

  • Cancel the transaction.

  • Suspend Services.

  • Restrict account access.

  • Request verification.

  • Contact the payment processor.

  • Take other lawful measures.

36. NO RETALIATION FOR GOOD-FAITH REQUESTS

Customers may contact us regarding legitimate questions, concerns, cancellation requests, or refund requests without retaliation.

We encourage customers to communicate concerns directly so that reasonable solutions can be explored when available.

37. LEGAL RIGHTS

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, limit, or waive any consumer protection, statutory refund, cancellation, warranty, or other legal right that cannot legally be excluded or waived.

Where applicable law provides rights greater than those described in this policy, applicable law will control.

38. POLICY CHANGES

We may update this Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy from time to time.

The revised policy will be posted on this website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes will generally apply prospectively and will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued under applicable law or an applicable written agreement.
